Manaus Free Trade Zone revenue starts growing again after two years

Companies based at the Manaus Free Trade Zone, in the state of Amazonas, have shown a positive performance, reaching R$ 82 billion in revenues in 2017. Brazil’s economic recovery, supported by falling inflation and interest rates, have driven demand and sales in the region. As we get closer to the 2018 World Cup, this year is expected to yield even better results.

Data published by the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone reveal a growing trend until 2014, when Brazil reached the peak of its economic crisis. In 2015, their performance slowed down, and only now, after the country has reached economic stability, have these figures started growing again.
