About the event

Gremi International is planning the development of EcoEstrela, a luxury, ecological tourist resort on its fully owned beach front property in Baía Formosa (north-eastern Brazil). The project site covers an area of approximately 2,500 hectares and 6.5 km of the coastline. It is currently the largest hospitality project under development in South America. This project has the potential to unlock Brazil’s under-developed tourist potential.

Learn what is necessary to develop a major tourist resort in Brazil, and what this could mean for the future of tourism in Brazil. Leading the discussion will be Piotr Maj, Head of Project Management for Gremi International, and Wolf Hengst, former Executive Chairman of Six Senses Hotel Resorts and Spas (Six Senses will operate the first phase of EcoBrazil). Mr. Hengst is legend in the hotel business, having spent 30 years creating the Four Seasons brand, retiring as its President of operations after 30 years as President. Six Senses was recently acquired by Inter-Continental Hotel Group, the world’s second largest hotel chain.
