About the event

Our ESG Series continues with a webinar on “Corporate Governance – Best Practices in Brazil and the United States,” focusing on the “G” in ESG. Join us to hear directly from representatives of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and leading organizations to explore this critical and evolving area from the perspectives of regulators, board members, in-house personnel, and external advisors.

In recent years, the interest of regulators, investors, and other stakeholders in companies and projects that adopt ESG principles in their activities has grown steadily. Although there is no unified set of expectations for ESG-compliant organizations, corporate compliance programs often contain certain elements that companies can leverage for more effective implementation and oversight of ESG matters.

The Chamber is convening an expert group of panelists to discuss different aspects of corporate governance and compliance programs that may be the pillars for integrating ESG into corporate activities. The panelists will also share their views on relevant practices and regulatory trends in Brazil and the United States.
