About the event

Education is one of the main determinants of economic growth and well-being, and a number of organizations are taking the lead in education in Brazil. We were honored to have two of our members, Fundação ABRINQ and Fundação Dom Cabral, discuss their initiatives. They investigated the importance of Cross-Sectoral Collaboration – both public and private – to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as well as using private sector motivation to foster the SDGs and collaboration that has already generated some promising proposals. They also looked at the crucial role of education and international exchange — specifically, the European Union’s Agenda 2030 and policies to protect children and adolescents, which has generated interest in partnering to implement Agenda 2030 in Brazil.
