BrazilFoundation hosted a panel discussion highlighting the positive impact of philanthropy on individual lives and society. Juliana and Roberto Sallouti, who share a passion for a better Brazil, discussed the value of philanthropy in education, the arts, and entrepreneurship and their experiences in these areas.

BrazilFoundation grantees, Ballet Paraisópolis and BlackRocks also participated in the panel discussion. Award winning Ballet Paraisópolis trains 200 children annually in the Paraisópolis favela of São Paulo, through dance expanding students’ horizons and preparing them for productive careers.  BlackRocks Startups helps to develop entrepreneurs, providing training for over 400 Afro Brazilian in São Paulo last year alone, connecting them with an ecosystem of innovations, startups, and technology.

The breakfast seminar brought together donors and social entrepreneurs that will share stories of resilience, hope, and, most of all, the promise of inclusive opportunities.
