Lava Jato (Car Wash) and other high-profile anti-corruption investigations, as well as the implementation of Brazil’s Clean Company Act, have drastically changed Brazil’s political and legal landscape. This afternoon program explored the post-lava jato after-effects, including the roles and prerogatives of American and Brazilian enforcement agencies, ongoing compliance related issues and due diligence issues related to M&A.  A reception followed three panel discussions.
