The New Brazilian Transfer Pricing Legislation vs. OECD Guidelines: Challenges and Perspectives

In December 2022, the Brazilian government published Provisional Measure No. 1152 (MP 1152), introducing changes to Corporate Income Tax and Social Contribution Tax on Profit and providing new transfer pricing rules. The proposal aims to align Brazil’s rules with international standards and is another step toward the country’s accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The Chamber has gathered a group of informed and knowledgeable panelists to discuss the main changes resulting from MP 1152, as well as the challenges and controversial points Brazilian companies may face.
