Professional experience

Eden Fine Arts Gallery - 03.2018 until now - 6 years

I direct operations and logistics for three of Eden Gallery’s most important venues in the USA. My responsibilities include managing my team to facilitate domestic and international shipping of fine art between galleries (located across the Middle East, Europe, USA, and Latin America), artists’ studios, and to clients. I ensure timely customs clearance, am responsible for the negotiation of shipping rates with vendors, and I find logistics solutions for high-end clients on extremely tight deadlines. I also oversee complex art installations, inventory management, accounting and administration routines, payroll, cash management, vendors management, procurement and events operations.

La Rose del Monte - 03.2015 until 03.2018 - 2 years and 11 months

I managed all aspects of clients’ household goods moving internationally or within the United States. I managed a multicultural team charged with supporting operations in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Connecticut for diplomatic, military and expatriate clients. To this end, I managed the full spectrum of logistics operations, including with shipping lines, customs brokers, worldwide vendors, and trucking companies. One of my most significant achievements was to develop a strategy to optimize relocation practices and processes in packaging and transportation, thereby reducing overheads and increasing productivity. I also acted as team lead on the development and maintenance of partnerships with relocation companies, and real estate brokers worldwide.

TCM Global Relocations - 06.2009 until 09.2014 - 5 years and 3 months

I successfully recruited, trained, and managed a team of ten people for the coordination and sales of international shipments worldwide. I developed and managed partnerships and agents, customs brokers, shipping lines and all vendors involved in the logistics process. I also supported the creation and implementation of a web-based system, which enabled the company to align logistics, sales and accounting operations.
