Special Merit Award Ceremony Honoring Minister Fernando de Oliveira Sena

The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce was pleased to honor Minister Fernando de Oliveira Sena with the Special Merit Award on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Banco do Brasil.

Minister Sena is a career diplomat with almost three decades of experience in political, economic, consular, and international affairs in Brazil and abroad.  He served as Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of Brazil in New York and holds the position of Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Brazil in Washington, DC.  He has been an active participant in the Chamber and has greatly contributed to the advancement of the Chamber’s mission of forging closer business ties between Brazil and the United States.

The Special Merit Award recognizes Minister Sena’s special support, counsel, and service to the Chamber, strengthening ties between Brazil and the United States.
