Gerando Falcões International Marks 15 Years and 5th NY Benefit Dinner with October Gala at The Metropolitan Club

Gerando Falcões International (GFI), one of Brazil's largest anti-poverty organizations, will hold its fifth annual New York Benefit Dinner on October 7, 2026, at The Metropolitan Club. This year's edition carries special significance, marking both the fifth consecutive year the event has been hosted in New York and the organization's 15th anniversary since its founding.

The Benefit Dinner brings together business leaders, philanthropists, and members of the Brazilian-American community in support of GFI's mission to end poverty in Brazil's favelas. Over the past decade and a half, the organization has grown into one of the country's leading social-impact networks, working across thousands of communities nationwide.

Looking Ahead to a New Goal

Building on 15 years of work, GFI is using this year's gala to launch an ambitious new commitment: helping 1 million additional people overcome poverty in the years ahead.

Adding to the evening's festivities, Brazilian personality Thaynara OG will serve as one of the night's presenters, while DJ Zé Pedro will lead the music. Organizers note that tables and individual tickets are moving quickly ahead of the event.

Guests will also be able to participate in GFI's online auction, running alongside the dinner, with proceeds directly supporting the organization's programs.
