Conceived and produced by Art in Brackets™, a valued member of the Chamber, the series serves as a living bridge between art, culture, and business, shaping how visitors enter and experience the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce.

About the Artwork
Gonçalo Ivo's Cosmogonies Series reimagines creation myths through vivid color, rich texture, and dynamic composition. These works reflect on the origins of the universe and the mysteries of existence, extending Ivo's ongoing exploration of form, rhythm, and the metaphysical dimensions of painting.
About the Artist
Gonçalo Ivo (b. 1958, Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian artist, architect, and writer who lives and works between Madrid, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro. One of Brazil's leading colorists, Ivo has developed a distinctive visual language over more than four decades, creating vibrant, rhythmically layered compositions that weave together influences from visual art, literature, and music.
His work has been exhibited widely in Brazil and internationally, including at major institutions such as Museu Nacional de Belas Artes, Instituto Moreira Salles, and Museu de Arte Moderna in Rio de Janeiro; Museu Oscar Niemeyer in Curitiba; Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo; the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in the United States; and Museum Jan van der Togt in the Netherlands.
