The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce highlights the participation of its member Sem Fronteiras Press at Focus Brasil New York 2025, an international event dedicated to celebrating Brazilian culture, literature, and audiovisual production abroad.
Among the featured activities, actress and author Beti Rozencwajg (Rozen), representing Sem Fronteiras Press, will join the Cinema Panel on November 13, where she will take part in the presentation of the short film “Ways of Remembering.”

Produced by students from PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School), the film portrays a lively Brazilian family whose children and cousins seamlessly shift between Portuguese and English in their daily lives. Through subtle misinterpretations, humorous exchanges, and generational contrasts, the story explores how family bonds adapt and evolve within a multilingual environment.
In addition to her participation in the Cinema Panel, Ms. Rozencwajg will also take part in the book launch sessions, where she will autograph her recent publications.
Focus Brasil New York 2025 will take place from November 12 to 14 and continues its tradition of bringing together Brazilian creators, scholars, and cultural institutions to foster dialogue and promote the visibility of Brazilian artistic expression in the United States.
Registration is free.
