About the event

Brazil joins the world in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic and faces several economic questions. The Brazilian central bank is providing liquidity and the government has initiatives to help individuals and the overall economy to ride out the worst of the virus. These include programs of social distancing that have already had deleterious economic effects, but also many have questions whether Brazil has enough fiscal space to undertake emergency programs at the municipal, state, and federal levels. Please join us for the Brazil Summit where Brazilian economic authorities and a panel of experts will opine on all aspects of the pandemic.
