On Thursday, July 9, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. will present Brazil Day 2026 as part of its acclaimed Summer for the City festival, offering a vibrant evening dedicated to Brazilian music, dance, film, and culture. All events are free and open to the public.
Beginning at 6:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a diverse lineup showcasing the richness of Brazil’s artistic traditions. Highlights include a lively Roda de Samba with Regional Samaúma, a performance by Alici blending bossa nova, R&B, and Música Popular Brasileira (MPB), and an energetic forró celebration featuring Maurício Baia and Baia Toca Forró.
The evening will also feature a screening of the acclaimed film Pelé, honoring the life and legacy of Brazil’s legendary football icon, followed by a Silent Disco hosted by DJ Béco Dranoff, featuring an eclectic mix of Brazilian and international dance music.
While admission to all events is free, attendees are encouraged to register in advance through the individual event pages. Fast Track registration offers guaranteed entry and expedited access, while general admission will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to venue capacity.
