White & Case‘s Head of Latin America Christian Hansen was profiled in BNamericas about the state of investor sentiment and deal flow, as well as the strength of the Firm’s capabilities, in Latin America.

Commenting on the general business outlook, he stated: “Political and economic turbulence is a constant, but with turbulence often comes opportunity.”

Hansen identified energy and infrastructure as main drivers of deal activity, noting that the needs of the growing population create constant opportunities. He also noted that the interconnectedness of the region’s economies will mitigate any drastic changes amid elections slated in various jurisdictions over the next year.
