Brazilian Regional Markets – a movement aimed at highlighting the potential and inspiring the development of regional markets, with the goal of attracting national and global recognition and investments.

Brazilian Regional Markets, those outside the RJ-SP axis, possess numerous potentials that need to be better publicized and recognized in Brazil and worldwide. Together, these states accumulate impressive data: out of the U$ 2.18 trillion that comprise Brazil’s GDP, U$1.3 trillion – that is, 60% – comes from regional markets. Additionally, they represent 70% of the population, 96% of the country’s territorial area, and excel in various economic sectors:

For instance, the states of Espírito Santo, Paraná, and Santa Catarina are significant players in various sectors of the economy, as outlined below:

Espírito Santo, for example, is the second-largest producer of oil and gas in Brazil, with its capital Vitória noted by the UN as the second-best city to live in the country. It’s nationally and internationally renowned for coffee production, in the mining-metallurgical hub, and in the ornamental rock sector.

Santa Catarina leads Brazil in exports, with China being its major buyer, showcasing one of the world’s economic potentials. The state boasts one of the most diversified economies in the country, with an industrial and logistical base. It also shines in tourism, with the tourist hub of Camboriú.

Paraná, alongside its exports, records the highest economic growth in the country, has a logistics platform with port anchorage, and stands out for renewable energy production. It’s also a reference in agribusiness, particularly in animal protein, soy, and corn production.

Hence, we’ve created the Brazilian Regional Markets, a movement to foster regional markets.
